  Juniper Publishers- Open Access Journal of Annals of Reviews & Research Hyperparathyroidism in Pregnant Women: Clinical Issues, Laboratory Findings and Relevant Therapeutic Approachesr -  Juniper Publishers  Authored by Rosita Fontes Abstract Primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) is the most common cause of hypercalcemia in outpatient settings, with an incidence in women of reproductive age of 4.7-6.2 cases per 100,000 persons. When untreated in pregnant women, PHPT can lead to maternal and fetal complications. The authors present a case of a patient with a pre-pregnancy hyperparathyroidism diagnosis: she had worsening symptoms during pregnancy, so was referred for surgery due to failure of clinical treatment to keep the disease under control. Clinical issues, laboratory findings, and relevant therapeutic approaches are discussed. Intraductal papillary carcinoma is an architectural pattern of Ductal Carcinoma in Situ (DCIS) without invasion into the breast stroma. We present a case of 72-year-old male with underlying benign prostatic hyperplasia on 5-alpha reductase inhibitor medication, who had presented with unilateral breast swelling and nipple discharge. While working up for breast carcinoma, there was an incidental finding of prostatic mass from computed tomography. This study on spawning host-selection in two sympatric bitterling species, Acheilognathus macropterus and Rhodeus ocellatus, was conducted in the Bulgapcheon Stream, Korea, where four mussel species coexisted. After analyzing the four mussel species immediately after spawning, we discovered that the two bitterlings used only two mussel species as their spawning hosts, Anodonta arcaeformis and A. woodiana. Juniper Publishers- Open Access Journal of Annals of Reviews & Research  Important Mycotoxins, Iran Status- Juniper Publishers  Authored by Rouhollah Karami Osboo Abstract A review of reports on mycotoxins demonstrates that aflatoxins, fumonisins, and deoxynivalenol are the most important while zearalenone and ochratoxin also were found frequently in Iran. Natural mycotoxin contaminations of the most important plant grains and commodities have been reported during the recent decade. In 2013 more than 90% of wheat samples collected at harvest time in Ardabil province was contaminated to deoxynivalenol, with the average amount of 1.7μgg -1 . Wheat, barley, maize, and rice were tested for zearalenone contamination but generally, contaminations were below than 200μgkg -1 . Fumonisin contamination was reported in many research and maize is one of the most contaminated cereals to fumonisin, in some maize samples 10μgg -1 of this carcinogenic compound was detected. ...
