This study discusses the spatio-temporal distribution of chlorophyll-a in the Marmaris Bay. The aim of the study is to be a source of information on how to use remote sensing technology in the marine field. Chl-a level is identified using Sentinel 2A satellite images in the May 2017 and May 2018. The chl-a levels were higher in the coastal areas than the open sea. The results obtained from the satellite images should be compared with the laboratory results and the accuracy should be confirmed. Effect of Linear and Non-Linear Estimation of Fish Mortality on Feed Conversion Rate and Economic Profitability of Oreochromis shiranus in Cages- Juniper Publishers

                         Juniper Publishers-Open Access Journal of Annals of Reviews & Research   Abstract This study was conducted to investigate the effect of linear and non-linear methods of estimating fish mortality on feed conversion ratio (FCR) and profitability of cage cultured   Oreochromis shiranus   (Makumba). Two treatments were used, designated as T 1   and T 2   and were replicated three times. In each cage, 105000 fish were stocked at an initial average body weight of 1.59±0.04g and cultured for 365 days. The fish was fed twice a day with formulated feed (36% Crude Protein) at 4-1% body weight with feed adjustments based on standing biomass from linear and non-linear estimated mortality. Increasing recognition of the great potential of the sweet potato crop as a nutritious food for humans and animals has resulted in intensified research efforts to enhance production and consumption. Sweet potato is sensitive to water deficits particularly during the establishment period including vine development and storage root initiation. However, drought is often a major environmental constraint for sweet potato production in areas where it is grown under rain fed conditions. Different cultivars may respond differently to limited quantities of soil water. Selection for good cultivar performance under drought conditions is thus considered to be of major importance.
