JUNIPER PUBLISHERS-OPEN ACCESS JOURNAL OF REVIEWS & RESEARCH The Efficacy of Some Teaching and Learning Instructions That Enhance Students’ Performance in Excretion Authored by Ameyaw Y Abstract The primary focus of the study was to determine the efficacy of some instructional adjuvants (concept mapping, co-operative learning, and lecture method) that enhance students' performance in the teaching and learning of excretion. The quasi experimental design of non- randomized pre-test-post-test control group was employed. Purposive sampling technique was used to select three intact biology classes of Aburaman SHS2 students with total sample size of 108. The two main instruments used for data collection were General Knowledge in Biology Performance Test (GKBPT) and Students' Performance Test in Excretion (SPTE) with K-R 20 reliability coefficient of 0.812 and 0.866 respectively.
